Letters and writing
See, hear, and write in one practice surface.
Choose a letter, hear a complete syllable and examples, then trace the stroke order. Recognition happens locally and explains why a stroke needs another try.
Built for iPhone · App Store release in preparation
Namu connects letters, sound, writing, useful phrases, and spaced review in one path. Start without an account; your learning history stays on your device.

Choose a phrase, then play only that Korean text.
One connected learning path
Letters, vocabulary, and practice are not isolated tools. Each step grows naturally from what you have already learned.
All 40 vowels and consonants, grouped by sound and writing relationships.
Combine letters into complete syllables and hear structure, not letter names.
Greetings, responses, and polite expressions enter real context immediately.
A review plan based on local progress, without invented mastery claims.
Record, replay, and replace; audio stays on the current device.

Speaking practice
Speaking, listening, shadowing, and conversation each keep one latest recording. Namu currently supports self-listening, without claiming speech recognition or pronunciation grading.

Offline first
Courses, progress, review, Wordbook, and practice recordings live locally first. Remote content appears only after review and keeps a validated offline copy.
Clear product boundaries
Namu distinguishes completed, due, unavailable, and still-in-preparation states. Until Apple sign-in, production commerce, or cloud sync is ready, the product does not expose test backdoors or fake accounts.
Course, review, streak, and activity progress use on-device data as their source of truth.
Device speech never reads romanization, letter metadata, or punctuation scaffolding.
English and Simplified Chinese ship together; unreviewed meanings never reach learners.
